At Waffel Meyer, we focus on sustainability and innovation to shape an environmentally friendly future. Our company has invested in an advanced heating network and its own solar park to make the most of the potential of thermal energy. Through our unique project to extract heat from wafer production, we supply the entire village of Venne with valuable energy that previously escaped unused.

Our motivation is to make sensible use of the heat that would otherwise go to waste and to create economic benefits in the process. In close cooperation with politicians and the municipality, we have successfully implemented this idea and are thus making an active contribution to reducing the ecological footprint.
