Promoting sustainability regionally
Based in Venne in the Osnabrücker Land region, we attach great importance to social and environmental sustainability. We are proud of our training programs, our generations of loyal employees and the successful installation of a local heating network that supplies 200 households in the region with waste heat. We are also “organic” certified and use sustainably grown raw materials.

Innovative product development
Our main plant has an impressive capacity of over 2.5 billion ice cream cones per year and is the largest in the world. We also produce flat wafers for the European confectionery industry at Plant II in Venne. Our own development department works closely with our customers to continuously develop new products and recipes
Modern technologies
Waffel Meyer uses modern equipment that is specially tailored to our production processes. Our automated dough mixing systems are directly connected to the ERP system, which ensures precise traceability. The flexible dough mixers have optimized stirring tools, while efficient burner and dosing controls in our inline ovens allow us to bake wafers with minimal tolerances. Thanks to quick-change systems, we can deliver a wide variety of formats flexibly and on time, which allows product developments to be quickly implemented in series production.
